Getting dressed every morning is one of my favourite parts of the day, even though the first 5 – 10 minutes of deciding what to wear consists of me having to convince myself not to wear leggings basically every morning. Lately the weather has been so strange here in Cape Town which makes it difficult to decide what to wear and not end up being over heated or freezing.
I recently came across a website called Daily Dress Me (http://dailydressme.com) where you can put in your location and it gives you outfit ideas based on the weather you’re experiencing. Sometimes the looks can be a bit repetitive but it’s always a good source of inspiration.
I’m no fashion guru – I like to think of myself as a fashion admirer and I love to see people take risks and create something unique and interesting however there is a time and place for everything.
At the moment sneakers seem to be the in thing. Roshe Runs have become the new all stars and isn’t strange to see a range of colourful sneakers in places other than the gym. This sneakers trend is extremely practical for students who generally do a lot of walking and they seem to go with almost every outfit.
If you want to change up an outfit and you not really into sneakers another great way to do so it with accessories. This is an inexpensive way to make an outfit suitable for an event or even just everyday.
